"Paddington Nursery in JLT has provided exceptional care and a holistic British education to babies and children aged 45 days to 5 years old since 2014. We follow the EYFS framework, using a child centered and play based approach to learning adapted for each unique child. In addition, we offer a variety of extracurricular activities, and we are open all year round, providing exciting holiday camps during the academic breaks. On Saturdays and afternoons we offer specialised language programmes to support native language development, and provide opportunities for children to start a second or third language at the very best time in terms of language development.
For over 10 years we have been blessed to have more than 300 happy graduates, all of them entered into the finest Dubai international schools.
Our team of devoted professionals are well educated and experienced. Our classrooms are bright and spacious, with many carefully planned educational resources. We have a roomy gym for indoor sports activities and indoor playground, which is so important during the hot Dubai summers, offering a much needed space for children to move and play freely.

- Parent and Baby Class
from birth to 13 monthsWorried that it is too early to start nursery? We are starting parent and baby classes in 2024/25 school year to provide a soft adaptation to nursery life for you and your little one. You will spend quality bonding with your baby as you participate in carefully planned activities to support baby development.Schedule
Our baby sensory program offers weekly classes for babies, accompanied by parents (or caregivers). The program, designed 10 years ago in UK, dovetails into the British Early Years curriculum, and introduces activities that stimulate your baby’s learning and development, while enabling parents (or caregivers) to strengthen their parenting skills.
Classes have been specifically designed for babies from birth until 13 months of age.
Each class is one hour long, and there are some options with the schedule.
- Lavender
from 45 days to 17 monthsGentle start of the long educational journey. We provide a home-like warm environment for a small group of babies from 3 to 17 months with professional, caring and loving teacher.Schedule
The tasks for this age are:- Gross motor skills development;
- Supporting and encouraging curiosity;
- Sensory development: exploring the 5 senses;
- Communication and language: encouraging back and forth engagement with peekaboo games and action rhymes;
- Personal, social and emotional: providing a home from home environment and specialised, attentive baby care.
- Yellow Umbrellas
from 1 to 2 yearsOnce your baby starts walking he becomes a toddler.Schedule
The most important tasks for this age are:- Supporting the development of a child’s growing independence;
- Supporting the beginning of speech development (plenty of rhymes and action songs);
- Fine motor skills and sensory development;
- Continual practice of large movements, such as waving, kicking, rolling, crawling and walking;
- "Making marks" practice: the very beginning of writing and artistic expression.

The most important tasks of 2 to 3 year olds are:- Social intelligence and group work starts to appear;
- Supporting the explosion of speech development;
- Developing pretend play, pretending that one object represents another;
- Making simple models which express their ideas;
- Compare sizes, weights etc. using gestures and language — ‘bigger/little/smaller', ‘high / low', ‘tall', ‘heavy'.

from 3 to 4 yearsIf all the tasks of the first 3 years of life are completed,Schedule
then a child is fully prepared to start FS1.
The most important tasks for this age are:- Promoting a positive sense of self;
- Developing fine motor skills and giving meaning to marks in preparation for writing;
- Practicing early writing skills and beginning to write some letters;
- Start playing cooperatively with others, making up and following some rules in their play;
- Develop their sense of responsibility and membership of a community;
- Begin to describe a sequence of events, real or fictional, using words such as ‘first', ‘then…
- Having a deep understanding of numbers up to 5 and beyond.

The achievements of this year are:- Write legible words and sentences;
- Read books at their level and sound out unfamiliar words;
- Simple maths operations: addition and subtraction with 2-digit numbers; a deep understanding of numbers from 1−10 and beyond.
- A new level of self-expression: confident storyteller;
- A new level of emotional intelligence: understanding the group needs; abilities to take turns and understand others;
- Make observations of the natural and human world and understand similarities and differences between cultures and communities.
The graduate result:- The child leaves us fully prepared and confident as they embark on their formal schooling in year 1.

from 2 to 5 y. o.Education never stops! Playful activities are very important for a child’s social development.Schedule
We offer variety of guided and independent activities in the afternoon time. Each day we offer classes carefully planned and held by one of the teachers from our nursery.- Monday - guided art class

- Thursday - music and movement
- Friday - science club
You can choose full day or up to 15:30, both options include extra curricular activities to support your child’s development.

from 1 to 5 years oldEvery holiday break we offer interesting and educative activities for children from 1 to 5 years old. We choose a topic - seasonal or any other - and focus on studying it through variety of master classes and fun activities RIGHT NOW you can enroll to our Summer Camp “Back in time”, the camp is on till 23.08.24.

Wood Wizards Dubai: educational and developmental woodwork classes for children from 5 years old. Students learn how to design, measure, carve and assemble their own creations. They also develop physically, mentally, emotionally and socially.
Singing Circle: fun and interactive music program for parents and children aimed at developing young children through singing, rhythm, and movement. Group — Tiny Maestros: 3.5−5 years old

WE SUPPORT NATIVE LANGUAGES
AND OFFER THE OPPORTUNITY TO MEET SECOND OR THIRD LANGUAGE IN THE EARLY AGE
- In Paddington Nursery we support native language development as well as give the opportunity to meet second or third language as early as possible. The earlier a child starts the language the better it goes later at school.
We offer language playful sessions from 2 to 4 hours so children can emerge in the language environment with variety of activities.
All classes are held by native speakers only with work experience in nurseries in their native countries.
The lessons are engaging, fun, active with food and active breaks,
walks or games outside or in our roomy gym.
In 2024/25 academic year we provide 6 extra languages: French, Japanese, German, Russian, Mandarin and Spanish.

* Paddington Nursery welcomes new families from Monday to Saturday, with prior tour booking. During the tour our Principal or teachers will show you our facilities, answer all your questions, you may be lucky to see the class time in progress depending on the time od the visit. our doors are always open and we welcome you to come along to our house and experience our learning environment. During your visit, you will be invited to tour the nursery to gain an insight to the educational programme and daily routines. We will share with you our programme timings and answer any questions you may have. Our Nursery Manager is always on hand to discuss any queries or concerns and loves to meet all prospective families
